3. Lindsay Lohan
Lindsay Lohan, an American actress who won millions of hearts as a child actor, has been to rehab multiple times due to her severe alcohol addiction. Lindsay had been a responsible child, however, she has publically shared that the first time she drank alcohol was when she was punished by her mother and made to sleep next to her vomit. She has admitted to being aware that her alcohol addiction is a disease that will take its own time to cure.
4. Diana Ross
Diana Ross, an American singer who went on to establish milestones in both acting and singing, turned to alcohol in 1999 following the end of her 14-year marriage. Due to the severity of her alcohol addiction, she was sent to a rehab center in 2002. Understanding her responsibility towards family and fans, the singer chose to undergo a 12-step recovery program. Since then, the singer has successfully remained sober.
5. Steven Tyler
Steven Tyler, who is best known as the lead singer of the rock band Aerosmith, has witnessed his share of ups and downs in his struggle against alcohol addiction. Famously nicknamed as “Demon of Screamin” for his astonishing vocal range, the singer has admitted to abusing alcohol and drugs to cope with the pressure that came with success. His addiction not only adversely impacted his career but also led to the downfall of the band. As such, he has been to a rehab center twice, with an intermittent 20-year phase of sobriety. Since his last visit to a rehab center in 2009, he has stayed sober.
